Studies on the Hypertension in Experimental Hypertensive Rat

Abstract
|

|
The studies were undertaken to investigate the effect of converting enzyme inhibitor (Sigma, SQ 20881) on the juxtaglomerular cell of rat. After treatment with converting enzyme inhibitor for 2, 3, 4 and 5 days intramusculary, changes of juxtaglomerular cell were evaluated by juxtaglomerular granulation index (JGI) and granular cell index(GCI).
In the 2days group, both of the JGI shown significant increase than those of the control group. The JGI and GCI of 3 days group were increased than those of the control group but decreased than those of 2 days group. The JGI and GCI of 4 days group were similar to the control group but decreased than those of the 2 days group significantly.
The JGI and GCI of 5 days group shown insignificant decrease in number than those of the control, 3 days and 4 clays groups but significantly decrease than those of the 2 days group.
